Our team
Lilla Strategy is led by Megan McDonald, founder and principal consultant. Megan's professional experience spans 20+ years, from a B.S. in Computer Science from Clarkson University, to the technology, government, philanthropy and nonprofit sectors. The common threads through Megan's career are analysis and service leadership. Megan's experience as executive director of a family foundation and grants manager at a nonprofit allow her to bring unique insight into funding relationships to her work.

What is "Lilla?"
"Lilla" is the Italian word for lilac, a flower synonymous with our home city of Rochester, NY.
Lilacs need freezing winters and warm summers to thrive, and they are one of the first and most fragrant blooms of spring.
